Day 1

Arrival (CMB) – Dambulla

Welcome to Sri Lanka, the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”! On arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private chauffeur-guide and be driven to Dambulla (about 3.5 hours drive), rest of the day is at your leisure or if we arrive early sightseeing surrounding area.

Day 2

Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya – Kandy

After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Polonnaruwa (2 hours’ drive away), the second ancient capital of Cultural Triangle. It well preserves ruins of palaces, bathing pools, stupas and religious rock sculptures. Return to Sigiriya after your tour in Polonnaruwa. depending on arriving to Sigiriya will commence with the visit to one of the wonders of the ancient world -the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is also a UNESCO world Heritage site. Sigiriya Rock was once an ancient Castle used both as a palace and a fortress and was created by the great King Kasyapa. The magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya is visible for miles from all directions and dominates the surrounding plain. The Sigiriya Complex consists of the central rock, which arises abruptly 200 meters above the surrounding. (Entrance fees not included). After visiting Sigiriya you will be going to Kandy (about 21/2 hours drive)

Day 3

Kandy

After breakfast at the hotel your city tour you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as Sri Dalada Maligawa. Next Peradeniya Botanical Gardens is a paradise for nature lovers. This beautiful flower Eden is restored with over 300 different varieties of orchids, other spices, medicinal plants and Palm trees. Every year more than 1.2 million people are enchanted by the beauty of these 147 acre flower gardens. In the evening you will witness a traditional cultural dance show. Day 4

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya you will visit the main attractions of the town which include the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating or fishing on Lake Gregory. You can also visit a working tea factory where the slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe tea. You can also add Sita Eliya (Seetha) and Haggala Gardens. Seetha Eliya is a temple which was mentioned in the famous epic Ramayana. Haggala is a temperate hill-country garden where languid low-country lotus and water lily float in their serene loveliness. (Entrance fees to sites not included)

Day 5

Nuwara Eliya – Bentota

After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Bentota (51/2 hours drive). On the way if interest you can do white water rafting in Kitulgala. After arriving Bentota rest of the day is at your leisure

Day 6

Bentota

Have a refreshing breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Bentota sightseeing tour. Bentota, the city of the golden beaches welcomes you for unwinding by its sandy shores and swimming in the clear waters. Enjoy a boat ride along River Madu that takes you on a scenic tour around beautiful islets, forested with lush mangroves. Visit the Turtle Hatchery – a prime turtle nesting site which was opened by the Wildlife Protection Society in 1981. You will get to see many newborn turtle hatchlings that are fed well and when 2-4 days old, are released into the sea (entrance fees to sites are not included). Return to the hotel in Bentota.

Bentota – Katunayake (CMB)

Depend on departure schedule you will take early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Airport (CMB) or if you have late departure we can arrange sightseeing activities.
