Preparation

Casual, drip-dry lightweight clothes are perfect. Other items, depending on your tour require a swimming costume and towel, small portable umbrella, medications and of course your camera to capture all those wonderful sights (don’t forget your spare batteries or charger!). There is no need for lots of formal clothes, however you might like to include a few options to wear out for dinner, but above all you want to be comfortable.

If you have chosen Nuwara Eliya, hill country destinations, don’t forget to bring cool climate cloths.

A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, weatherproof jacket and good walking shoes are a good starting point for all our tours.

At a minimum, your travel insurance should be ‘comprehensive’, providing cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability, with a minimum coverage of US$200,000. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage and personal effects.

Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down.

Group size impacts making connections with fellow travelers and your Tour Guide, access to local culture and remote natural landscapes, and the overall ease and comfort of traveling with a smaller group. We determine the ideal group size for each adventure, which—unlike the industry standard of 45 travelers—never exceeds 20 travelers. we prefer small group so our team can give first class treatment from the beginning to the end.
