Day 1

Airport (CMB) – Colombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka, “The Pearl of the Indian Ocean”! On arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private Dream Lanka Tours chauffeur-guide and be driven to Kandy (about 45 minutes drive). After arriving to Colombo visit to the Dewatagaha Mosque at Town Hall (The Dewatagaha mosque is one of the more prominent mosques in Colombo – its lovely exterior is almost an iconic part of the architecture near Town Hall. It is also partly a shrine to a Saint from the 19th century – Shaikh Usman Waliyullah – and Muslims and non-Muslims alike visit to pay their respects) and optional visit to the Jami-Ul-Alfar Mosque at Pettah for prayers and also meet with the local community (Entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Day 2

Colombo- Pinnawela – Kandy

After breakfast at Hotel, be driven to Kandy (about 2.5 hrs drive). Depend on your arrival time we can visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular tourist attractions. The elephants here range in age from newborns to elderly, and include orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild. Check in at the hotel and rest of the day leisure at hotel. (Entrance fees not included)

Day 3

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya, including a visit to Al-Kabeer Grand Mosque, which is a famous mosque in Nuwara Eliya for prayers. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of the tea country and you can visit a plantation and a factory en route (If any entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Day 4

Nuwara Eliya – Kataragama

After breakfast proceed to Kataragama, visit the Rawana Ella Cave. This cave is in the huge Ella Rock. Hanuman the monkey god, is said to have climbed up Ella Rock, in order to find Seetha in the cave. Seetha lived in this Cave for some time. Proceed to the south west of Sri Lanka, to the City of Kataragama, a popular pilgrimage destination frequented by adherents of all religions in Sri Lanka. This is also the place close to the Yala National Park.

Day 5

Kataragama – Galle – Bentota

After breakfast at Hotel, commence to Bentota/Galle/ Koggala. Fist we will be visiting Meera Mosque in Galle. This city has a good population of Muslims and there are quite a few mosques around the city. The most prominent mosque in Galle is the Meera Mosque also known as the Galle Fort Mosque or the Jama Al-Khairat Mosque. The mosque is located inside the Galle Fort. The other mosques in the city are Ya Hussain Masjid, Shekh Yusuf Sahib Valiyullah Mosque and the Baddare Mosque. Next the Turtle Hatchery where you can see five species of turtles, Green Turtles, Hawksbill Turtle, Loggerhead Turtle, Leatherback Turtle and Olive Ridley Turtle. The eggs collected by the Villagers and Fishermen are purchased by the Kosgoda Hatchery and kept in sandy pens until they are hatched. The newly hatched ones are kept in seawater tanks and released to the sea in the night. This Hatchery alone has released more than 1,750,000 young turtles to the sea. rest of the day is at your leisure or A boat trip on Madu Gaga is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants, animals, monkeys, water monitor lizard glides slowly through the water, and cormorants, egrets and kingfishers wait patiently on the banks, eyeing the water for prey. Day 6

Bentota – Katunayake (CMB)

Depend on departure schedule you will take early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Airport (CMB) or if you have late departure we can arrange sightseeing activities.
