Day 1
Arrival (CMB) – Negombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka, the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”! On arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private Dream Lanka chauffeur-guide and be driven to your hotel in Negombo, a seaside town which is only 20 minutes away from the airport. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2
Negombo – Wilpattu
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Wilpattu, this is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka, rest of the day is at your leisure or enjoy an afternoon safari in Wilpattu. The park is best known for its leopards and sloth bears but only second to Yala National Park. Park is full of a large number of Elephants, spotted deer and sambar, water buffalo, mongooses, crocodiles and variety of endemic and epidemic birds. Due to the Vast area and the lack of tourist in the Wilpattu park, it’s one of the most peaceful (least commercialize, very few numbers of jeeps running around scaring animals) parks in Sri Lanka. Hence you might have better chances of spotting more wild Animals. You can also witness Monitor Lizard, Mugger crocodile, Common Cobra, Rat snake, Indian python, Pond turtle, and the Soft shelled turtle among many reptiles who reside here, rest of the day is at your leisure (Entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Day 3
Wilpattu – Anuradhapura
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Anuradhapura (1-hour drive), a UNESCO World Heritage City. Anuradhapura being the first kingdom in Sri Lankan history, it is full of sites that has archaeological and architectural importance. Enormous stupa, ancient pools and temples, that were built during Anuradhapura kingdom add more value to this place. Also, it is a Buddhist sacred area. There is so much to see in Anuradhapura, Sri Maha Bodhiya is the main attraction of all the Buddhists who visit this historical city. It is perhaps the oldest living tree that is in the world. The Lord Buddha attained the bliss of Nirvana under the shelter of Sri Maha Bodhiya. A branch from Sri Maha Bodhiya was brought by Sanghamitta Theri and was planted in Anuradhapura. Ruwanwelisaya, Thuparamaya, Isurumuniya, Lovamahapaya, Jetavanarama, Abhayagiri Dagaba, Mirisaveti Stupa, Lankarama are must see eight places in this city. You should also see the Samadhi Statue in the Mahamevuna Park. It is considered as one of the best pieces of sculpture on the site. This is a granite statue which is carved in the Dhyana mudra. Day 4
Anuradhapura – Minneriya
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Sigiriya, 5th-century legendary sky citadel of “Lion Rock” – the Landmark of this country, also the highlight of your cultural triangle tour; although a steep climb is requested, the story behind the monument and the panoramic view of Dambulla seen on the top is definitely worth the effort.
After Sigiriya proceed to Minneriya spreading over 8800 hectares, this is a sanctuary for elephants, if you’re up for serious rumble in the jungle, then you need to visit Minneriya. This National park is home to herds of deer and ample bird life, but its spotlight remains between swaying trunks & flapping ears. Here you can marvel at the elephants feeding in their natural habitat. With over 300 elephants gathered, the park has rightfully earned its reputation as a magnet for wildlife enthusiasts across the globe, rest of the day is at your leisure (Entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Minneriya – Kandy
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Kandy (21/2 hour drive), your city tour you will visit one of the world heritage as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of Tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankan’s as Sri Dalada Maligawa. In the evening you will witness a traditional cultural dance show or rest of the day is at your leisure (Entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Day 6
Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya (21/2 hour drive), before heading to your next destination you have option to visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, this is a paradise for nature lovers. This beautiful flower Eden is restored with over 300 different varieties of orchids, other spices, medicinal plants and Palm trees. Every year more than 1.2 million people are enchanted by the beauty of these 147-acre flower gardens. After visiting Peradeniya you will be heading to Nuwara Eliya this rout you will witness the most breathtaking scenery imaginable. Day 7
Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya you will visit the main attractions of the town which include the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating or fishing on Lake Gregory. You can also visit a working tea factory where the slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe tea. You can also add Sita Eliya (Seetha) and Haggala Gardens. Seetha Eliya is a temple which was mentioned in the famous epic Ramayana. Haggala is a temperate hill-country garden where languid low-country lotus and water lily float in their serene loveliness, rest of the evening is at your leisure (Entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Day 8
Nuwara Eliya – Udawalawa
After Breakfast, you will be taking a train ride up to Ella from the Nanu Oya station (train ride depends on schedule). From Ella, you will meet your same Dream Lanka tour Chauffer and transfer to Udawalawe (2-hour drive).

Udawalawa
After Breakfast, you will be taken to Udawalawe National Park, this is the best National Park in Sri Lanka if you want to see Elephants at close quarters. During a visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds of adults and young elephants feeding or bathing and playing in the water. In addition, the park is home to many Water Buffalo, Water Monitor, Lizards, Sambar Deer, Monkeys and the occasional Leopard, as well as being an exciting location for Bird enthusiasts. A 4WD open-top safari is the only way to see all the wonders that this protected reserve has to offer and our experienced and knowledgeable nature guides will make this an unforgettable experience. Next you will be visiting Udawalawe Elephant Orphanage during Udawalawe day tour. The Elephant Transit Home owned by the Department of Wild Life Conservation (DWLC) was established on October 6, 1995 at the Udawalawe National Park. 24th of September 2003 the elephant transit home opened, completely funded by the Born Free Federation of UK, who also funds post-release studies run by the University of Colombo, monitoring the orphans with the help of radio collars once they have been returned to the wild. rest of the evening is at your leisure (Entrance fees to sites not included in the package).

Yala National Park/Tissa
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to your wild adventure in Bundala National Park which serves as an internationally important wintering ground for migratory birds. The numerous crocodiles that call this place home will add even more excitement to your experience. Then proceed to Yala. Day 11
Tissa – Mirissa
Have a refreshing breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Mirissa. It’s time to leave the jungle adventures behind and head down to the coast. You will be taken to the coastal town of Mirissa, which is renowned for its breathtaking beaches and its warm ocean waters. If you love beaches this is a treasured haven for honeymooners and provides the perfect ambiance for a relaxing and passionate experience.

Day 12
Mirissa – Bentota
After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Bentota, the city of the golden beaches welcomes you for unwinding by its sandy shores and swimming in the clear waters. Enjoy a boat ride along River Madu that takes you on a scenic tour around beautiful islets, forested with lush mangroves. Visit the Turtle Hatchery – a prime turtle nesting site which was opened by the Wildlife Protection Society in 1981. You will get to see many newborn turtle hatchlings that are fed well and when 2-4 days old, are released into the sea (entrance fees to sites are not included). Return to the hotel in Bentota.
