Day 1

Arrival (CMB) – Kandy

Welcome to Sri Lanka, “The Pearl of the Indian Ocean”! On arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private Dream Lanka Tours chauffeur-guide and be driven to Kandy (about 21/2 hours drive). Depend on your arrival time we can visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular tourist attractions. The elephants here range in age from newborns to elderly, and include orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild. Check in at the hotel and rest of the day leisure at hotel. (Entrance fees not included)

Day 2

Kandy

After breakfast at Hotel, commence on a city tour of Kandy, including a visit to Meera Makam Mosque in Kandy for prayers (Meera Makam Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Sri Lanka’s hill city Kandy. The land for the mosque was gifted to a Muslim Courtier who served the King of Kandy, Kirti Sri Rajasingha and was completed in 1864 by a society of Muslims living in the city) and also meet with the local community & other places of religious interest to other faiths, which reveals the religious harmony in the country. Proceed for a Kandy City Tour and visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Peradeniya University campus and catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from Upper Lake Drive. In the evening, you will visit a Kandyan Dance performance (Entrance fees not included).

Day 3

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya, fondly called Little England in Sri Lanka. Full of rustic colonial beauty and grace, this hilly refuge is one of the dreamiest settings on the island. En route witness the picturesque mountain ranges and breathtaking waterfalls. In Nuwara Eliya you will visit the main attractions of the town which include the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating ride on Lake Gregory. You can also visit a working tea factory where the slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe tea. You can also add Haggala Gardens. Haggala is a temperate hill-country garden where languid low-country lotus and water lily floating in their serene loveliness. Day 4

Nuwara Eliya (Al Kabeer Grand Mosque and Pidurutalagala)

After breakfast at Hotel, commence on a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya, including a visit to Al-Kabeer Grand Mosque which is a famous mosque in Nuwara Eliya for prayers and also meet with the local community. Next we will visit Pidurutalagala, or Mount Pedro in English, is an ultra prominent peak, and the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka, at 2,524 m. Mount Pedro is located close to the city of Nuwara Eliya, and is easily visible from most areas of the Central Province On completion return to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Hotel

Day 5

Nuwara Eliya – Colombo

After an early breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Colombo (5 hours Drive). Commence on a half day city tour of Colombo, including a visit to the Dewatagaha Mosque at Town Hall (The Dewatagaha mosque is one of the more prominent mosques in Colombo – its lovely exterior is almost an iconic part of the architecture near Town Hall. It is also partly a shrine to a Saint from the 19th century – Shaikh Usman Waliyullah – and Muslims and non-Muslims alike visit to pay their respects) and the Jami-Ul-Alfar Mosque at Pettah for prayers and also meet with the local community. On this tour you will visit many of the historical, religious and commercial sites of Colombo including the historic and bustling Fort and Pettah, the elite residential Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle face Green, and Viharamahadevi Park.

Colombo – Katunayake Airport (CMB)

Depend on departure schedule you will take early breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Airport (CMB) or if you have late departure we can arrange sightseeing activities.
